Maxon, maker of user-friendly software used for 2D and 3D design, 3D modeling, motion graphics, and more, has just announced the release of Maxon One 2025, along with the long-awaited launch of ZBrush for iPad as part of the big news. Created by artists and for artists, ZBrush for iPad boasts the full power and functionality of the desktop version of the software, enhanced with touch-based capabilities and Apple Pencil support.
The program’s customizable interface allows users to arrange sculpting tools for an optimized experience, and even personalize their workflow with the Apple Pencil double tap or Pencil Pro squeeze to complete an action. This new mobile version includes many of the same tools and features found in the desktop version, including its renowned sculpting brushes and features like Dynamesh, SculptrisPro, and ZRemesher. Depending on your iPad memory and version, you can work with massive polygon counts – up to 92 million on the latest M4 iPad with 1TB storage.
For new ZBrush users, the iPad version offers a free plan to try out 28 popular brushes and limited tools. With an upgrade to the paid version, the full suite of over 200 brushes and advanced features is available.
ZBrush for iPad has made it easier than ever to sculpt, paint, and create wherever you are, bringing next-gen digital sculpting to your fingertips.
