Dassault Systèmes launches SOLIDWORKS 2025, bringing major enhancements in 3D design and collaboration

Dassault Systèmes has announced the arrival of SOLIDWORKS 2025, the latest iteration of its premier 3D CAD portfolio with an extensive set of user-driven updates to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and accelerate product development speed. Aimed at optimizing collaboration and data management, SOLIDWORKS 2025 brings refined workflows to all stages of design, from parts and assemblies to advanced features like 3D dimensioning, tolerancing, and intricate routing for electrical and piping systems.

Key tools include SOLIDWORKS PDM, Simulation, Electric Schematic, and DraftSight, all of which have been upgraded to deliver faster and more accurate results, supporting an end-to-end design experience.

There are also brand-new collaboration features, like real-time model notifications and direct access to industry communities to promote peer engagement. Part design now includes a selection accelerator for chamfers and filet-edge blending, while assembly creation is sped up with component replication tools, bringing setup time to bare minimum.

Integration with Dassault’s cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE platform allows project updates in real-time and offers all resources in an all-in-one workspace, supporting remote work and multi-device collaboration. Additional upgrades in the legendary suite continue Dassault’s commitment to innovation, expanding the software’s capabilities for a next-gen, collaborative design environment. Millions of innovators worldwide are excited to try new functionalities out to see for themselves what the latest release can bring to user experience and performance.
