Formlabs’ Creator Series resins to shake the world of hobbyist 3D printing

Formlabs has just transformed the hobbyist 3D printing world with its brand new Creator Series, a line-up of resins designed to bring professional quality and safety to home printers. These resins are tailored for hobbyist LCD and DLP 3D printers, boosting performance without sacrificing safety.

Starting the series are Creator Tough Resin and Creator Super Clear Resin that aim to fill an existing gap in the market by offering hobbyists materials that are both affordable and safe. Free from any harmful chemicals and VOCs, typically found in most budget resins, the Formlabs innovation promises to take amateur 3D printing to a new level.

“As the hobbyist market grows, there’s a concerning gap in resin safety,” noticed Formlabs CPO, Dávid Lakatos. “Creator Series will empower creators to innovate with confidence, offering high-performance, safer resins at a low cost.”

While Creator Tough Resin is meant to be used for making flexible, durable parts, Creator Super Clear Resin, in turn, is great for translucent, glass-like creations. Both resins are seamlessly compatible with popular third-party printers, for example Elegoo Mars 4 9K and Anycubic Photon M2.

Formlabs has encouraged user feedback at their official website to further adapt and enhance the series, as well as expand resin options for hobbyists, so go ahead and leave a review if you’re one of the talented 3D printing enthusiasts!
